Leave of Absence

Members may take a Leave of Absence (LOA) when they believe they will be temporarily unable to be active on Habbo. Taking a Leave of Absence ensures that your badges are not removed if you do not log in for an extended period. It may also ensure that your positions in your Units are secure, given the length of your leave.

IMPORTANT: Please read the rules before applying. If your application doesn’t follow them, it will be rejected.

LOA Policy

General Rules

  • Anyone with access to the portal is permitted to request a Leave of Absence (LOA).
  • Members must request their LOA at least 3 days before the start date, unless they get direct permission from Foundation. This also applies to extension LOAs.
  • All LOAs must be logged, or they won’t be valid. If a member can’t log it themselves, they must ask a Management+ member to do it for them.
  • Requests must include a valid reason for leave.
  • Your request may be declined if any errors are found in your application.
  • Abusing the LOA system may lead to disciplinary action.
  • There are three types of LOAs you can choose from:
Full LOA: both In-Base LOA and Unit LOA
    In-Base LOA
    Unit LOA
In-Base LOA
  • The minimum duration for In-Base LOA is 30 days. You do not need an LOA if you will be absent for less than 30 days.
  • The maximum duration for In-Base LOA is 60 days from your start date.
  • LOA Leadership may approve an LOA of up to 6 months if the reason is valid and clearly justifies the extended duration.
  • If a member is found doing in-base work during their LOA, their leave may be revoked automatically.
  • During LOA, profiles must remain public with visible online status. Failure to comply will result in badge removal.
  • You cannot apply for another In-Base LOA within 30 days of your last one. For example, if your previous LOA ended on January 1st, the next one can start on February 1st.
  • Failure to return immediately after your LOA ends will result in badge removal.
  • The LOA Admin will contact you on Discord regarding the outcome of your application.
  • Once approved, please add [LOA] at the end of your motto.
